So instead of going for only one species, consider going for bites and bows in that rod from anything in the lake. On Mayse we have crappie, sandies, pickerel, Kentucky Spotted Bass, catfish and largemouth black bass. The two most aggressive fish in cold water are probably crappie and Kentucky bass.
