Finding true winter fishing hot spots

A few winters back this was proven in spectacular form by James Bramlett, who pulled the world record fresh water striped bass, 69 pounds, 9 ounces, from the waters below the Gorgas Steam Plant on the Mulberry Fork of the Black Warrior River northwest of Birmingham on a cold February morning.
