There probably won’t be a better weekend this year to stay off the water than this one, after a week of nights in the teens, frozen bays and icy winds. Bass, in particular, become inactive in these conditions. However, expert anglers on Lake Guntersville, like Captain Mike Carter, are still finding bass.
