It is almost that time again!!
Summertime is one of our favorite times here at Bass Pro Shops in Sevierville! That means it’s time for Family Summer Camp!
This year our programs will be from June 25- July 24, 2016. If you are looking for something educational for the kiddos to do - make plans to be here ! We have short workshops, crafts, games and the carousel - OH YEAH and it’s ALL FREE !!!
Just this week one of our regular families sent me this story…..
This past week, local 3rd grade students at Seymour Intermediate School enjoyed an outdoor " Beach Day “on their playground. They brought beach umbrellas and beach toys and had a great time.
To prepare them for their upcoming summer holiday, a local county instructor was there to teach them about beach and water safety. He provided possible scenarios and asked the children if they knew what to do. Without fail, one student, Reece, shot his hand up to answer every question. He got the answer right every time, too !
At the end of the presentation, Reece again raised his hand. He said to the instructor, ” You know why I knew all those answers ? I go to Bass Pro Summer Camp ! “
To which the instructor said, ” Well, what I have to say about that is, I guess all you students better ask your parents to take you to Bass Pro Summer Camp ! “
